My Favorite Color

PINK 

My favorite color is pink.  Why do I love this color? I’m not sure but I have loved this color since I was a little girl.  Some cultures believe that pink is the color of little girls but I have never outgrown it.  Pink is extremely feminine, romantic and charming.  It is the sweet side of red.  Its reminds you of cotton candy and bubble gum.  Did you know that pink is the color of universal love!  Pink is a quiet color.  Lovers of beauty favor pink.  A pink carnation means “I will never forget you”.  And it figures why I have always loved pink carnations, now I know why.  

Pink is a combination of red and white.  The quality of energy in pink is determined by how much red is present.  White is the potential for fullness, while red helps you to achieve that potential.  Pink combines these energies.  I definitely have a personality for fullness in my life and I am an achiever in all areas of my life, I work hard for what I want so white and red are also very good signs of my personality.    I also think that I look good in red and white clothes so it makes sense that I would love the color pink.   I know that when I was a little girl I always had to have the pink cup or the pink bowl every day when I ate.  I could never eat out of the blue or green bowl it always had to be pink.  It may sound silly, but I always pick pink if there is something of color to choose from.  So it should come as no surprise that PINK is the color of our wedding. 

 I also am trying to be considerate of my fiancé and have a color for him too.  So we agreed to add burgundy for him.  The colors compliment each of us so nicely and they look great together.  Pink for me, burgundy for him, and silver and diamonds to blend them together just as our relationship will be blended Yeh!

I think that I love pink because it is so feminine, romantic, soft and peaceful.  It reminds me of all the years that I spent dancing with pink leotards.   Pink also reminds me of my childhood when I used to take trips to six flags NJ with my family and cousins and I always had to leave the park with a huge pink tissue paper flower on a stick in one hand  and a big pink cotton candy in the other hand.  They all still laugh about how I couldn’t leave the park without them. 

So I have always dreamed of having a pink wedding, thank GOD that Fernando has agreed to have pink because it is the perfect color for a romantic setting.  After researching a little information on the color I have discovered that the color pink provides feelings of CARING, TENDERNESS, ACCEPTANCE, SELF-WORTH AND LOVE, so this is the perfect color for the celebration of our wedding!
